Tagging People using Link Actions

Note: This feature is only available within the HTML email editor or by manually adding link actions to a link.

This method can be used with the HTML email designer or by manually creating a link.

1. Basic Link: A typical link looks like this: https://campaigndeputy.com.

2. Adding a Tag: To add a tag to a person’s profile, use a link like https://campaigndeputy.com?cdt=tag_2RIurPsNuXWWJwfiHJeROQJDKEY. In this example, tag_2RIurPsNuXWWJwfiHJeROQJDKEY is the Tag’s Unique ID. The tag_ portion can be omitted, using https://campaigndeputy.com?cdt=2RIurPsNuXWWJwfiHJeROQJDKEY instead.

3. Using Third-Party Services: When using a third-party service like ActBlue, prefix the cdt= parameter with an &. For example: https://campaigndeputy.com?amount=25&cdt=2RIurPsNuXWWJwfiHJeROQJDKEY.
   

A Tags Unique ID can be located via Settings > Tags > and clicking the desired Tag's name should result in a page like the one shown below.
