User Permissions
Users can be setup with different permissions levels based on the access you want to give. Any new user should have People View access to be able to complete most functions inside the system. For example, to use the Call Time Manager, you need access to People to bring up call sheets. Users may be able to guess at other information, such as donor information based on the title of a list, or performing a Universe Search.
It is also recommended that new users sign up for two-factor authentication (2FA). We only allow TOTP, Time-based One-Time, codes to login to the system. SMS 2FA is not used to prevent against cases of “sim-jacking” where a person takes over your phone number. Our 2FA method allows for a set of one-time use recovery codes.
Account Administrator
Has access to all functions for the account. This is the only account that can invite or modify user permissions for other users.
Call Time Manager
Provides access to the Call Time Manager are of Campaign Deputy. Useful to be able to print out paper call sheets.
Person Admin
Can view and edit all details about a person or an organization. This does not grant a user access to contributions, or some reports that use other data.
Person Read Only
Can view information about a person. Does not have the ability to edit details about a person, including adding a call, a pledge, note, etc. Useful to provide access to other reports that show Person records. Email statistics are still available for each person’s profile.
Contributions Admin
Can view and edit contributions and attribution codes.
Contributions Read Only
Can view contributions, including the Contribution Report, Ask To Give/Raise report, and the Thank You Notes report.
Disbursements Admin
Can view and edit disbursements .
Disbursements Read Only
Can view disbursements. This and Contributions Read Only permissions are required to view the Compliance Report
Debts Admin
Can view and edit debts/loans.
Debts Read Only
Can only view debts. This, Contributions Read Only, and Disbursements Read Only are required to create a compliance report.
Events Admin
Can view and edit events along with sending emails about an event. If the user does not have Message Center access, another user will need to create a sender identity. Some accounts may not have access to send emails from an event.
Events Read Only
Can view events. Users will not be able to modify the guest list with this permission.
Pledges Admin
User can edit, complete and remind donors about pledges.
Pledges Read Only
User can only view pledges and the Raiser Review and Pledge Reports.
Forms Admin
Can edit, create forms along with setup auto responders. If the user does not have Message Center access, another user will need to create the auto responder sender identity for them.
Forms Read Only
Can view forms, and see form submissions.
Message Center Admin
Can create and send emails, create Sender Identities, manage images.
Message Center Create Drafts
Can only create email campaigns, does not have permission to send them.
Message Center Read Only
Can only view email campaigns and the statistics of each one.
