Add DNS Records to Squarespace
For Squarespace you will need to have the appropriate access to add DNS records.
Log into Campaign Deputy and go to the Settings (Top Right) and click on Domains.
Verify the domain name matches what you have in Squarespace. If it doesn't match, please contact our support team.
Open Squarespace and go to Domains->DNS->DNS Settings. You may need to scroll down to see the Add Custom Records options.
Your DNS Records will be different than what is shown in the video. The text of the Value records should be considered randomClick ADD RECORD and copy the Host/Name from Campaign Deputy into the Host field on Squarespace.
Pick the Type that matches in Campaign Deputy.
You can leave TTL as the default or set it to 1 hour or 4 hours.
Copy the Value field from Campaign Deputy into the Text/Alias Data field in Squarespace.
Click Save and add the next record.
Once complete you can Request DNS Verification. This will verify the records exist, and match. You can hover over any errors to see details.
When a record does not match, make sure you copied and pasted the correct record. You may have to wait 1-4 hours for our system to see this update.
If a record says that it is missting, please add the record.
